The steering group behind the Charity Governance Code is continually looking to improve it, taking into account the evolving understanding of what good governance is, and the changing expectations of the sector’s various stakeholders.
A consultation on how the code can be improved in anticipation of a ‘light refresh’ in 2020 has been launched, to be followed by more far-reaching changes in 2023.
